Terms of Use

Effective date: October 25, 2026 · Version 2026-10-25

1. Who provides the service

Propagandometer is operated by IURII NOVIKOV, an individual (“we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of the Propagandometer website and related services. Contact the operator through our Support form; this is also our contact channel for legal notices, privacy requests, and content complaints. No separate contact email is currently offered.

2. Purpose and limitations

Our mission is to reduce online manipulation and support critical thinking. The service uses artificial intelligence to identify possible persuasion techniques and generate scores, quotations, and explanations. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or misleading. A score is a heuristic assessment, not proof that a statement is false or that an author intends to manipulate. Verify sources and context yourself. Outputs are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice and should not be the sole basis for decisions affecting a person's rights or reputation.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. Provide an email you control, protect your credentials, and tell us through Support if your account is compromised. Express analysis and public results may be available without an account; some actions require registration. At registration, you must accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. We record the document versions and acceptance time. You remain responsible for activity you authorize.

4. Submitted material and public results

Only submit material you have the right to use and share. Do not submit confidential information, passwords, private personal data, or material that you are not authorized to disclose. Submitted source text, source links, and generated analysis can be publicly accessible through analysis pages and recent-analysis listings. The service is not a private document vault.

You retain any rights you hold in your submissions. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process, store, reproduce, and display the material as needed to provide the analysis, public results, support, and moderation. This does not give us ownership of your content or additional rights to third-party material. Source text is sent to OpenAI to perform analysis. Ownership of third-party text remains with its rights holders; an analysis does not grant a license to republish it elsewhere.

5. Acceptable use and moderation

Do not use the service for illegal content, threats, harassment, hate or discrimination, exploitation of minors, non-consensual intimate material, disclosure of others' private information, infringement, spam, or malicious attempts to compromise the service or bypass its safeguards. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior.

Use Report on an analysis page to flag inappropriate content or an incorrect analysis, or contact Support with the analysis link. We review complaints and may restrict access, hide material, block analyses, or take action against abusive use. Automated security checks can also block requests. A moderation decision does not determine a person's legal liability. You may request review of a decision through Support. Support messages and report details are not public analysis content.

6. Availability and third-party services

Features, models, limits, and availability may change. Requests can fail or be limited. We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent preservation of any result. Third-party sites, AI providers, hosting services, and app distribution platforms operate under their own applicable terms. These Terms do not authorize a payment; any future paid offering must disclose its price and purchase conditions before you agree to it.

When registration is paused, you may join a waitlist without creating an account. A place on the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation date or API access. Voluntary USDT support through the addresses shown on the website does not purchase features, priority, or an account.

7. Ending use and deleting an account

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in Account settings. Because an analysis can have multiple contributors and is stored separately from accounts, deleting an account does not automatically remove shared source material or public analyses. For removal of personal data or submitted content, send a request through Support with the relevant analysis links. We will assess your rights and any applicable retention obligations; see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for misuse or when necessary to protect the service.

8. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on automated outputs or service interruptions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer rights. You remain responsible for your own use and interpretation of results.

9. Apple distribution

If you obtain a Propagandometer app through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable store rules and Standard End User License Agreement govern the app license unless a separate custom license is presented there. These service Terms supplement that license. Apple is not the operator of this service and does not endorse its analysis results. Service questions and complaints should be submitted through Support. Mandatory rights and the applicable app license take precedence in case of conflict.

10. Changes and applicable rights

We may update these Terms and identify the new version and effective date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the service and renewed agreement requested where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law. If you disagree with updated Terms, stop using the service and use the account and privacy controls described above. No clause limits protections or access to courts available to you under mandatory law.
